FROM ALL OF US AT THE ADAIR COUNTY FAIR — THANK YOU! As another Fair comes to a close, there are so many people who deserve a THANK YOU.First, to every business, organization, and individual who sponsored or donated to the Adair County Fair — your support is what allows us to put on these events. Whether you sponsored an entire event, bought an ad, donated $25, or simply stepped up when something was needed, every bit of it mattered.A huge thank you also goes to our Adair County Fair Board and Fair Club members. There are countless hours of work that happen long before the gates ever open and plenty more after everyone goes home. Setting up, cleaning up, planning events, making phone calls, finding sponsors, solving problems, and doing whatever needs to be done — it takes a team, and we have a good one! And most importantly, THANK YOU to the residents of Adair County and all of our friends from the surrounding counties and communities who came out and supported us!You bought tickets, filled the stands, rode the rides, entered competitions, brought your kids, cheered on the contestants, ate some fair food, and made memories with us. Without people coming through those gates, none of the rest of it means much.We tried some new things this year, brought back some old favorites, learned a few things along the way, and most of all we had a Fair that our community showed up for.
